Poems by Dianna P.
Salazar
From The
Sanskrit Poetry Board
I see the vision
of a young, ravishing diva
under majestic moonlight
she is in rapture
for this night's nocturnal dance
wind and thunder
surround the essence of her being
night's roaring voice
mixes sweet musical emotions
to fevered pitch
enough to rupture
midnight's veil
and birth a mantra
of love
to tug upon his heart
I navigate the regal path
of majestic mortality
an incandescent vision
of ambivalent youth
incalculable juvenile essence
sweet rapture magnifies the young night
for future arduous novices
nocturnal winds urge you
to promiscuous dance
with immense waxing moon
looking down at
my gentle heart
I simulate and ravish joy
a serpent carries love
to birth our voice
up far from her bearable perimeter
the smile a diva's mantra
upon your still eyes
anchor self sympathy
they domesticate you
